Power لُلُصّبُلُلصّبُررً ॣ ॣh ॣ ॣ 冗 text message was an ios bug that wreaked havoc in may 2015. users texted the message to other ios users as a prank, and the message caused the recipient’s iphone to freeze, crash, and restart. the bug exploited a critical flaw in apple's ios security and became known as the “unicode of death.” the text message circulated as an amusing prank, appealing to an audience unfamiliar with and baffled by the connection between the string of characters and subsequent device crash. 

across a range of mediums, artists in effective. Power give form to endings and rebirth. regeneration is the force that keeps the universe afloat; energy and matter are neither created nor destroyed, instead, they transform. this show captures how endings and new beginnings often come unpredictably and chaotically, interrupting life’s precedent systemic flow. collapse is seldom an endpoint, though, and just as the effective. Power message caused the crash and reboot of the recipient’s device; its little death gives way to reanimation.
